My Alexa noise skill of choice is “ Ambient Sounds: Heavy Rain.” To use it, activate the skill, and then say, “Alexa, play heavy rain sounds.” By default, the noise will play for one hour, but you can say “Alexa, loop on” to have it play until you tell Alexa to stop. The nice thing about using an Echo for this purpose is that it’s a separate device, so if you need to watch a video or listen for notifications, you don’t have to fiddle with the volume on your computer or hit pause on the noise.
